LITEON 83850 v2 Dead Liteon

I think i have a dead liteon. I was trying to update the xbox and got c000-0900 error. so i tought i would get the firm back to stock. I connected the drive in jungleflasher bit it's not showing and it's not ejecting. I then tried if the drive was working in the xbox and it wont boot, just blinking green light. i have not been able to extract the keys as the drive was not showing up

What can i do? I am sure i did not put the power cable upside down as i check every time before plugging it

If you know what port it's plugged into try to send the intro anyway even though it says no drive detected. Do you have previous key backups? If you do and know FOR SURE it's the right key, you could send a liteon erase command on the port, follow the prompts, and then try and flash it again from there. Or try a different program like dosflash if the above doesn't help.

I do not have keys as i didn't flash this drive. Intro device id did not work. i do not know if drive is erased but i for sure did not erase it as the drive didn't even show up in jungleflasher. I was updating dashboard from 13146 to 599. Could this have deleted the firmware? i do not want to try liteon erase as i will end up in having an useless xbox

Unless I am mistaken the liteons get flashed to the 02510C firmware somewhere in there. That's why you should ALWAYS go back to stock first. You may be boned if MS erased your firmware then caused threw the error before writing the new firmware.

On a side note your mobo might be eligable for RGH, in which case you could recover your dvd key with Xell.

**ADDED** I just checked 13146 should have flashed you to 02510C and 599 only did a SPI lock to 0272s(to my knowledge). Not sure if they reflashed others to stock as well :S

If you are looking to be live "safe" you could still RGH, get to xell, get your dvd key, and then reflash your Stock Nand and turn off your TXCoolrunner, which is the best one of course

Also, try and track down who flashed your drive and hope they still have the key. They should have emailed it to you or backed it up for your use SOMEHOW.

I was already on 13146 wich flashes the firmware to 025

I had someone bring me a box that they tried to update with liteon in it and did the same thing. It bricks the drive and your not able to use it at all. I had go put a Sammy or Hitachi in it to get it to ay games again. And the liteon wont work in any xbox I put it in. All you have now is a parts drive.
