Dead Xecuter 2.6 Lite

Hello,

I initially purchased an Xecuter 2.6 Lite modchip from modchipstore.com and it worked for a while with the X2 4977 BIOS (Xbox 1.0). Last week, I upgraded it to the X2 5035 BIOS through my LPT programmer. Now it caused my Xbox to turn on and off three times . I tried to re-flash it on my computer, but is wasn't detected even after several reboots through iXia and Xecuter2 BIOS Manager. Now, I have purchased a Xenium Gold 24K from modchipstore.com as well, and it works flawlessly. I was wondering if there was a way to make the Xecuter 2.6 Lite modchip work again so that I could use it in my Xbox 1.6.

Check to make sure the switches are properly plugged in. Those can cause a frag. Maybe test them with a multimeter.

I just removed and reseated both ends of the cable and it still FRAGS my 1.6 Xbox-solderless, and it isn't recognized on my programmer on either flash bank or with the write protect switch on or off.

The chip didn't just magically go bad. Either something happened that you're not saying, or the switches are the problem. Without testing them with a multimeter, there is no way to know if they are the problem.
