Well, a friend gave me 2 xboxes today, one with a dirty disk error and one that seems to not turn on. I figured out the disk error right away (swapped the cd rom drives) but the other one i can't figure out.

When i press the power button the light stays on for like a second and turns off, after pressing the button like 2-3 times it turns on, but then the led flashes red and green. The box has never been modded, the inside of the xbox looks pretty much like brand new, and i tried a new drive, new hdd, and psu. Still does the same thing. So only thing left is the motherboard. Does anyone know if that would be fixable? Oh, I also checked the CPU, it doesn't seem to be burnt (I can't get the damn gpu heatsink).

Xbox completly DEAD

I have had an X3 in my Xbox1.6 for about 6 months now. Everything has worked great. I would keep the newest X3 bios on 1 meg on the bios and an older X3 on the other as a backup. I have traveled with this xbox on an airplane before and no problems. I recently flew to TX and when i got my xbox out and hooked up FRAG!!! It would boot to the M$ bios with a long press and to the Flashbios with a double press. This made me think the bios went bad, so i reverted back to the backup bios and everything worked fine. When i flew home and hooked it up....it would only boot to the M$ bios and the xecuter light on the bios bank would not even turn on. So i open the box and see that the 3.3V light is not on on the X3. I wiggle it around a little incase it got shaken loose and reboot the box. Same thing happened. BUT the next time i turned it off and back on NOTHING happened. NO POWER!!!1 I did not move the box and it was just sitting on my floor. I can think of NOTHING that would do this. PLZ ANYONE!!!1
