deamon every time do offical update on 360 nand from m$ games wont load dirty disc

i have a trinity slim 250 with a demon fitted and all working great since demon came out i have retail dash on 360 and rgh on demon every time i have updated the retail dash the dash updated fine from m$ and boot but every time i load a game it start to load then dirty disc error comes up i have fixed this before 3 or 4 time by dumping the retail dash with the demon and then loading into j runner and creating new retail image and flashing back then all is good. Problem i have is its my sons box and hes just update to 16537 that came out this morning and that dash is not in jrunner yet is there any way i can sort this please without waiting for j runner update
also can anyone tell me is there something i can do so when it update the retail dash from m$ this dose not happen anymore


i have now erased the xbox360 nand and re-flashed with 16203 retail dash but now i cannot get stock to boot at all with my orig dump or anything i have about 4 backup of the nand and none work even if rebuild retail nand in j runner just the demon rgh dash will boot before i erased the xbox nand would boot retail dash just dvd problem as above now when i boot the xbox nand "retail" the green light comes on in center of power button for about 10 sec then it changes to red there's is no video output at all rgh dash on demon still boots fine i have also tried changing ldv to get to boot but no go

im at a lost with this please help if you can point me in the right direction

you cannot downgrade.No way to fix unless you can get a donor nand with the latest stock dash, and inject your keyvault, and other important information from your previous stock nand dump. rebuild nand, flash to xbox, dont forget to modify LDV to match what xell says. (Martin C has a guide for this somewhere.) The only other option is to wait for new dash pack for J-runner....... As a side note always have a current back up nand before you flash a new nand.

i have a dump of the 16537 dash that i took when i updated from m$ just had the dvd problem but even when i flash that dump back still the same no xbox nand boot

got the retail dash booting again had the ldv wrong read martin c guide and then got right value from xell

right i still have a problem that once i do an official update of the dash in this case "16537" but makes no difference from m$ console boots fine but get error when booting backups. it will boot originals games fine but then if i dump the nand with the demon after i have updated from m$ and load it into j runner and make a retail nand with j runner then flash back to nand all disc play again "originals and backups". So i know its not the rom can anyone please shed some light on this at this time im on 16537 retail dash with out backup booting what dose j runner do to make the rom boot backup again if i flash back to 16203 that was made retail in j runner backups work again but will ask for update for live again.

Where are your logs?

What you're doing also makes no sense, so I suggest you stop for now.

yes i know is a very strange problem i have had for a wile

demon run and works fine , read and write on both nands

demon nand has 16203 rgh dash on it working fine plays backups and originals from the dvd drive with lt+ 3.0 liteon 0225

xbox nand was 16203 retail working fine i updated it to 16537 on xbox live and when finished original games work in dvd rom but backup do not.

this happens every time i do an update from xbox live for the dash

the only way i have found to fix it is to dump the retail nand load into j runner and create a retail image and then flash it back to the xbox nand with demon tool box

then every thing works again

and yes i no it makes no since been driving me mad for a long time now and i just cannot seem to see what causes it

i can upload a log but its not a problem with j runner thats doing every thing right and the log file is quite long as i have not deleted it before i see i can insert video or a image but can i attach i file

your logs might help ascertain what's changing. Your install pics might also help us help you work out why you need to do this every time.

You can attach txt files as well as images.

are you flashing your DVD-Rom back to stock firmware before doing the official update on the retail NAND side? If not, this might be causing a problem.

no i am not flashing the rom back to stock don't shoot me for saying this but i did not think it mattered on a slim. it has a tx pcb with write enable off

You should go back to stock every time you update and where's the log

i 99% sure its not the rom as it boots all games on the rgh dash on the demon and if the rom was the problem it would not boot backup on retail and rgh surely

Your log has 3 different serial numbers in it.

I only need the upflash.bin logs from the images for this console.

Also, still no pictures.

i have manage to get the files for 16537 to put into j runner to make a retail dash all is working again now on retail dash running 16537
