LITEON 93450 Defect Liteon

I got a Jasper BB with a defect Liteon drive in, seems like someone have tried to make the mra hack on it but failed and now its dead, i have been over the board with a multimeter to make sure the trace cut and joined together and there is no short circuit on it, but it seems lige the little round pad where the trace cut is made is burned and i wonder if there is a alt point where i can solder a wire to

If JF is unable to detect it and you do not know what is wrong, I would suggest sending the PCB to TeaJunkie. He has sorted 2 drives for me. Although he is overseas, the shipping was just over $5.

Also, since it is a Jasper, you could RGH it to get the key and flash it to a new LiteOn.

I would go with the RGH route and replace the drive with a new lite on. It will make your life a lot easier.
