I bought 2 X3 chips and completed one mod. However, I determined that one of the power/eject adapters that goes on the inside is defective. The modded box wouldn't boot up unless I used the connector from the 2nd package. What I'm wondering is ..... can I splice into those wires manually without that adapter :?: I know I could just get a replacement sent to me. However, it doesn't look like there's any circuitry on that adapter board. If that's the case, I could manually cut the wires and make the connections. Is there a schematic somewhere for this adapter ? Has anybody else done this ? I'd rather avoid the hassle of swapping the defective part for a new one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
