LITEON 0225 Defective Unlocked PCB?

I have just replaced my failed kamikazee with an unlocked Tx PCB and everything flashed just fine. When I insert a game the disc motor just spins in jerks and it gives me an open tray. Is the board defective?

i am begin to think that when you buy these tx pcb from the resellers.that when they post them.they not packing them well hence the defective ones.

just my thought.

i must say i never had a bad one yet.

So I would assume everything looks ok and my thoughts of it being bad could be correct. It was wrapped in pink foam and seemed to be packaged well. Should my next move be getting a replacement?

i not saying it's faulty,but 9 times ot of 10 it user error.

but if you think it's is then contact your reseller.
