ANSWERED delema with nand

i got this xbox in today from some guy who bought it from america a year ago, and it has a solid green light, nothing else. i can sync a controller, but it does not get assigned a controller no. i.e. 1,2,3,4. i reflowed it with no luck, so broke out my nand x and read the nand. however he is on holidays and i cant contact him so i have no original nands, cpu key, anything. i dont even know what dash it is on now. what should i do? im thinkin i need a clean xen... but then i need the cpu key. should i erase the whole nand, then install xellous? get the key, the install fb 13506 dash?

Dumped the NAND, opened it in degraded, nothing out of the ordinary, tried reflashing it, from about block 300 was all error 0 which I assume is empty, so got a clean NAND from jtag tool and repaired, flashed xellous, got CPU key and jobs a goodun. IMO xell can't be fully trusted for NAND dumps or flashes. Only a lpt or USB flasher will get it right all the time
