Hi Guys,

A friend of mine tried to install his demon into his phat but had a few problems, one of which was errors writing to the demon.

In the end he gave up and just kept his jasper as RGH. He said i could have the demon and try get it working but after closer inspection of the demon i can see he has tried to solder a quick solder point that wasnt a point and its bridged too. Just wondered if the demon has been ruined?

I have checked read/write to the demon with a micro usb cable and its fine.

That looks perfectly fine.

That's the RB pad, which goes to an alternate location because the pad directly below the quick solder point is covered with lacquer (you can expose the pad with a fiberglass scratch pen if you like and use the pad instead of the alternate point - there is copper on the DemoN's quick solder pad for this reason).

You have gotten yourself a nice deal there, since you get to keep the DemoN which will work perfectly fine once installed (correctly) :).

Oh i see. So if i scratch the pad with a fiber glass pen then theres no need to use the green RB wire, right?

Looks like my lonely old falcon is gonna be demonised!!!!!

Thanks

That should answer your question :).
