Demon corona v3

Having installed many coolrunners to many phats, I decided to buy myself a slim and go to town on it. It is a V3 corona so I installed a QSB for the demon (modified to allow the cap to show through, and reconnected the D4 wire). I also have a QSB for the coolrunner.
What I also read was I need to bridge some resistors by the header to allow the nand to be R/W.
My first query is as it has a demon chip, and its programmed via the demon, do I still need to bridge the resistor blanks??
I did try to read the nand via the QSB, but it just gave me error:650 failed to read ** but it still created a 16meg file in the output folder, but failed to create a ECC image. ( this was all done before I found out about programming via the demon chip)
Anyway, back to the issue, I have tried to read the xbox nand via the demon in j-runner and get manufacturer for code FF not found.
I have checked, double checked and triple checked my solder under light and magnifier and all seems ok.
Using demon toolbox I can swap between the 2 nands no issues, and the blue light works fine.

Any ideas chaps???

cheers

Is the RB wire soldered to the correct spot?

Which Corona DemoN conversion QSB did you get?

Have you performed a continuity test on each of the DemoN's quick solder pads?

You should check that there are no solder bridges/shorts and then test each DemoN quick solder pad against it's corresponding pin on the console's NAND.

Thanks for the reply

RB connected as per this http://www.xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?p=703941#post703941

Installed QSB v1 for demon, drememled out the cap and reattached the d4 point, all metered out for continuity and all fine

I can read the demon nand, just not the xbox.

update, I checked all the solder joints, all meter ok. I removed all the wires to the demon chip, and managed to get a nand read via the QSB, nand compared ok, then flashed the coolrunner, but j-runner wouldn't allow me to create a ECC file so I couldn't go any furthur. Currently my slim is in bits, 3 resistors bridged, demon unwired, coolrunner connected, nand read thats it. I connected it all up, tried to boot the box and all I get is a single beep and nothing.

Is it dead??? Where do I go next....phats were soooo much easier to do lol

After many hours of playing, I removed the QSB on the header, and rewired the demon. I flashed the demon with the xbox nand I read using the QSB, and the system booted from the stock nand, and not from the demon, not surprising as it hasn't been set up for glitch etc yet.
Still can't read the xbox nand from the demon, still fails saying manufacturer FF.
Still can't create a ECC file either, just fails. At least my console boots!!!

I'll keep playing and report if I sort it, any comments please feel free.
