Having installed many coolrunners to many phats, I decided to buy myself a slim and go to town on it. It is a V3 corona so I installed a QSB for the demon (modified to allow the cap to show through, and reconnected the D4 wire). I also have a QSB for the coolrunner.
What I also read was I need to bridge some resistors by the header to allow the nand to be R/W.
My first query is as it has a demon chip, and its programmed via the demon, do I still need to bridge the resistor blanks??
I did try to read the nand via the QSB, but it just gave me error:650 failed to read ** but it still created a 16meg file in the output folder, but failed to create a ECC image. ( this was all done before I found out about programming via the demon chip)
Anyway, back to the issue, I have tried to read the xbox nand via the demon in j-runner and get manufacturer for code FF not found.
I have checked, double checked and triple checked my solder under light and magnifier and all seems ok.
Using demon toolbox I can swap between the 2 nands no issues, and the blue light works fine.
Any ideas chaps???
cheers
