FIXED Demon Drivers Wont install on Windows XP Sp3

Hi everyone,
I am Dual booting Windows 8 and Windows Xp Sp3. I installed Xp with the hopes of not having as many install problems as I did with windows 8. :redface: oh well.

What my problem is that I cannot for the life of me get the Demon usb drivers to install so that I can update my RGH. I keep getting...Install Failed(unsigned)
error when trying to install. I have installed the redistributable's the tutorial has asked me to and googled my butt off. I even went to driver signing and set it to ignore.

So as far as I can tell..I am the only one that has had this problem with windows XP and in need of some help. Thank you in advance!

LoL! Thanks for the reply. After being on this forum for awhile I knew that was going to be asked.
Yes I have followed to a T and that is what is so baffling about my problem. Since I can find no one that has had the same problem it's hard to find a solution.

The first thing I would try is installing and running CCleaner and run the standard cleaner plus the registry cleaner.

Download TeamViewer and message me the ID and password for it (don't post them in the open forum).

I will try and install the drivers for you.

It's a fresh install?? Do you do all the windows updates? Maybe there is a patch that will fix the problem. I just redid the PC in my lad the other day which has XP SP3 and didn't have a bit of problems installing it but of course I updated and installed frameworks.net before I did anything.

@Blakey. I've never thought about doing that to help people. I don't know why not as I'm a huge fan of TeamViewer. I'll keep that in mind in the future.

OK Guys, I got it figured out.

I was never able to get the Demon recognized on my main pc which is Dual-booting

windows 8 and windows XP Sp3. This is strange to me as I have gotten it to recognize when

I was running windows 7 ultimate x64 on the same machine! So I took my Slim apart and

checked the ribbion cable connections visually as well with a multimeter, everything checked

out good. I put everything back together and still no luck. So I just tried it on my wifes

PC which is running windows 7 ultimate x86 and it recognized it right away!


So If your having real problems getting the Demon recognized on your PC...

Skip all the messing around and try another Computer. I sure would like to know what it is

that makes the Demon finicky to certain pc setups. Oh well, Thanks to Bl4K3Y and Krafter for

the help!
