GENERAL Demon Dual NAND or banned XBL?

Alright I have done a bunch or research on multiple sites over the last few days about what which console will work best for my needs. I play on XBL a lot and had an old white system I was going to use for modding leaving my new slim untouched for my normal non backed up retail games.

The old white core system, from my research, my only options are flashing the drive, buying a specific dvd burner and blank discs. The device also will need a repair so I am looking at about $130 all said to get that one up and running.

I then looked into the DEMON dual NAND on my slim but I am hesitant as I am a big novice on this and don't want to get banned or have XBL roll out an update that would destroy the glitch and leave me with a banned, bricked console.

The other alternative someone mentioned was to buy a glitched box that had been XBL banned and use it as just a offline console. This, dollar for dollar, sounds to be the best choice.

TL;DR:

I have a budget of about $130 to $160. I play a lot of XBL (maybe 10 hours total a week) and need to not have to worry about an XBL ban. Should I go with a Dual NAND (demon) on my main slim or purchase a XBL banned console for just offline?

Thanks in advance.

.

- MS cannot stop us from glitching slim consoles , no risk of breaking the ability to glitch with a slim or a fat for that matter .. far as being banned use a seperate kv on the rgh side of the console (2nd nand) and your legit kv on the retail side for XBL

I would personally use the slim , repairing the fat and all that just to have it die again later on .. meh.. they both die slims do sometimes at least.. its all personal preference
a slim with a demon and cr3pro or other tx glitch chip u shouldnt have any worries.

The Demon is supposed to be installed by a pro. Me personally, I would use the slim for live and the phat for offline. Get a jrprogrammer and a Coolrunner, RJtag, or wait for new one coming out. Then put a large hard drive in and copy the game to the hard drive instead of burning. Only games you own though.

Edit: I would get a jasper phat or another slim. I don't like xenon, opus, zepher, or falcon. Although falcons are better than the rest, I have still burned through two of them (heavy gamer). Haven't had a bad jasper other than the dvd drive. That is my opinion for what its worth.

So are all phats hackable like this? My understanding was with dash and mfg date I have that I could only firmware flash my disc drive.

Yeah I don't have HDMI out on my box :-( . I think its a xenon. Would mine even be worth selling for parts? It has audio no video out issues and whines really loud when running for more than a few moments.

LOL, I just gave away 2 xenons and a falcon. They were taking up space on my desk. Two of them worked, but to me, its jasper or newer. I wouldn't think it would be worth anything.

Of course it's worth it to sell it, unless you're going to make a business out of flashing and repairing, then it's always handy to have spare parts laying around. You won't get much for it btw if you'd consider selling it broken...
