I just installed a demon and cr rev c to a trinity mobo. I went to power on and I get a beep and that is it. I switched nands and I get the same. I re-seated all 4 ends of the ribbon cables and double checked all my solder joints (not with my multi-meter yet). I am going to post pics for you guys in a min. I was reading the xbox nand through the demon, and got a wrong header message but it finished, then I read the demon nand and it reported a bunch of bad blocks? I am going to erase it and make a new image, then re write it to the demon nand. here is the jr log:

is this a common problem? I didn't seem to see anything in the first 3 pages of the demon support area...

I'd say there's a real good chance if bridging between NAND points. You need to test for continuity between points.

going to re-write nands and see if they write better, they were clean when read through the nand-x, then I will start checking with the meter...

Here are the quick solder point. I did not find any shorts anywhere either... I think I will touch up some of these points though, as a couple look cold.. wil report back... any suggestions till then?

ok re soldered my quick solder points just to be sure... they look like a perfect set of teeth now.... check em with the meter too, by the pads and the joints, no shorts... gunna re write both xbox nand and demon nand via the demon and we will see if that was it...

Your STBY_CLK point is bridged with another pad. check taht :rolleyes2:
So it is. Good catch. :)

OP, it looks as if you have bridged the point you are supposed to solder to and the one directly under it. have a look at the install pics again.
