Hi I am planning to install a DemoN in my XBOX 360 slim trinity. Now I have read many posts and the thing I will do is the following (I am waiting for the parts, once I do this I will post photos)

Using a relay setup I took from http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=744513

I will put a 16GB flash drive in front of the XBOX and inside it all the profiles etc. Then using the relay with the help of the EN point on DemoN, I am planning to cut the 5V that goes to the 250GB HDD so When the console boots in live the drive will be offline and when it boot from the DemoN it will be visible again. In this way when I am online with Live nothing I have on the HDD will be visible.
If someone has a suggestion on this, I want to hear it.

Again I am still in planning and waiting for the parts.

If you use a non xbox 360 2.5" sata hardrive as a internal hdd, booting stock nand will not detect the hdd as it doesnt contain the hss.bin file. But when you boot the glitch nand/demon it will be detected.

Use a 16gb usb stick for stock side of things, like xbox live and profile/gamertag

I am planning to use a 16 GB flash drive for profiles and saves when I am on stock.

Now I dont want yo give extra money to buy a new HDD I want to use the one that xbox came with and drop in it all the glitched stuff and make it so that it want be detectable.

One more thing that I may do is when I am on DemoN mode to disable the 5V on one of the usbs so in this mode it will detect only the hdd.

And one more think about the hss.bin you might be correct but you never know what microsoft is going to look in the future and ban consoles, so I want to be in the safe side.

best thing to do is get rid of the hss.bin file from your xbox 360 hdd then it will not be detected on stock nand, only RGH. You can do this buy connecting up the xbox 360 hdd to a 2.5" sata caddy and then formating it using your PC.

I have a 1TB hdd in my demon slim that holds all my RGH stuff and then i use a 16gb usb stick for my xbox live stuff, gamertag and saves. Ive been using this setup since demon came out and ive had no bans or issues.

When you boot from the DemoN you see also the gamertags from the usb flash drive, is this a problem? Can you accidentally sign in with a gamertag you use on stock nand?

And do you think that just deleting the hss.bin file is safe for the future?

I use my my xbox live gamertag for demon and xbox live. Just be sure to only play xbox 360 games on your demon with your xbox live gamertag and not any emulators like snes 360 as these will give you achievement points that MS will ban you for.

hss.bin file is there to stop you using a unofficial xbox 360 hdd in your xbox.

I prefer to use different gamertags to be safe. Now can you give a link or something about formating my hdd and what to to after that?

And the thing I asked you about on DemoN you see the gamertags from hdd and flash usb is this correct?

edit I also just read that Microsoft increased the limit of supported usb flash to 32GB! If that's correct then I am going for a 32GB unit.
