This is not my first time installing a demon. A friend of mine wanted me to mod his trinity board. Went to install the demon, and managed to pull the r1t13 resistor. My question is, will the console function without it, and if not, is there anyone in the U.S. willing to replace the resistor for a decent cost?

I thought that was what you were talking about but its actually an r1.... something or another.

You pay shipping both ways and I could replace that component for you no trouble no charge. If you want me to complete the install then we will have to talk turkey! I'll Pvt. Msg. you my shipping info if you like.

I can also fix it free as long as ya pay shipping & I can ship it back out the same day that I receive it if I'm just replacing the resistor. I am in kentucky so you can figure out the cheapest shipping cost.

I will be pulling that exact resistor from a dead trinity motherboard & request the the demon be completely installed so I can test it before shipping.

Or I can mail you the resistor free if you want to fix it..

it a super easy fix with a multi meter you could find a resistor for that almost any broken electronics.

by the way i checked on the trinity on my desk and its 9.89k ohms so any 10,000 ohm smd resistor will work

Thanks for the info, The demon is fully installed, I am holding off on installing my CR3 Pro in it until this is fixed, the demon has been flashed with the stock nand dump i pulled from it a few days ago. I quadruple checked all of my solder joints and everything looks good, but it doesn't hurt to get a second opinion. Right now my options are either you or Keil, however, right now I don't have the funds to ship anywhere, and will probably be a few weeks before I am able to ship to anyone. If you could PM me your address, and I will make my decision. Also, By chance is there any way that I could see some of your work?

I'm looking to have it fixed for me, for one, that is not a spot I'm comfortable with, second, I need to replace my Iron tip. I was lucky not to pull any other resistors with the condition my tip is in.

That would be great, I'm actually looking to buy one later on down the road, right now the only 2 I have is a 15 Watt iron from radio shack, and a 30 Watt iron I bought from walmart, both of which need new tips.

if you can install the demon you should be able to replace the resistor with a new tip, tweezers and a new resistor its easy enough.
This is true, However, my hands may be steady enough to install the demon, but not enough to install a component that small. Even before the tip of my iron started wearing away, I was always at risk of removing small components. My first RGH was a Zephyr board, and it was an RGH 1 install. I got lucky not to botch that too.
