I got ordered a CR3 lite, and a DemoN. I did my research and all the guides I read said to install the DemoN first. So I tested it first, worked fine, DemoN Toolbox read it. So I installed it to the bottom of my board using this guide http://www.xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=88106. I dont have the coolrunner installed yet, I plugged in the demon after I installed it on the board, demon toolbox can read the DemoN, But Jrunner says it doesnt have a connection. What do I need to do now? I thought Im suposed to plug it in and use jrunner to try to ready my NAND now but idk? PLEASE HELP!

You don't have a connection ?? You mean you dont have a Internet connection and its very easy install your coolrunner as well dump the NAND and put that NAND on demon to test if it all works then create ecc and write it to to demon not the retail leave that on stock and boot to xell get your CPU key and make your freeboot image and write to demon as your done and make sure you flash the coolrunner you can do that in j runner do that before booting to xell or it won't work

WOW Razadon, no obviously I have inernetconnection. And thats what Im asking how do I read my nand using my DemoN? Demon toolbox reads the demon chip, but when I open jrunner(While my demon is still plugged into the computer, that is already soldered to the board.) it says No connection in the black dialog box at the bottom of the program???

Well make sure you got latest j runner and just click read and choose your console type but make sure your toggle onto xbox 360 NAND instead of demon then write that same NAND dump to demon to check if its all ok and boots fine

I've never installed a demon before a CoolRunner board. What happens if your boot times aren't great once you've installed the CR? I always have to mess around with CPU_RST wire length to get good boot times.
It sounds to me like you're a little bit confused as to how the demon works.

watch this guys video, it's the perfect tutorial on how to install the demon as well as how it operates.

If your having trouble reading NAND you need to post picture of set up and have you actuall read the PDF in same folder as j runner??

This is what mine Looks like so far. Demon toolbox still recognizes the demon, but jrunner does not, I want to dump my nand, but jrunner cant read my device. Says No device found when I click read nand.

You should really clean up all that flux of that board and cut wires to length and them little 8 points you solder four look ok but four of them look like they touching clean up the flux and list better pics and make sure no points are touching each other, a multi meter would be good in hand right about now

Ok I will do that tommarow, after I touch up all the points should jrunner then detect my device? And if is do I go ahead and dump my nand twice, compare, and create ECC. Then install my cr3? And Ive been trying to find the wire point for the cr3 without using the qsb's. I only ordered the cr3 and the DemoN.

Yes just use direct points

Are you toggling to xbox 360 NAND and then dumping?

I went ahead and redid all the points connecting the DemoN to the motherboard, and cleaned up all the flux. I plugged in the micro usb cable to the demon, switched it to PRO, and opened up demon toolbox. Demon toolbox will let me turn the console on and off without touching the power button so I must have somthing right or demon tools wouldnt be able to turn my system on and off correct? But when I open jrunner, it still tells me device not found!? Am I missing somthing or what? I just want to be able to read this damn nand!

whats wrong with dumping with ToolBox and opening your dumps in J-Runner?

You can do your reads and writes with the ToolBox alone, and everything else in J-runner...;)
