RGH Demon install with a error 0010 after install only on demon side. Help please

Hello there guys I tried to look and see if anyone has had this kinda problem didnt find much on this. But heres the low done on this... The board was orginally RGH 1 and worked great never had a issue. But the CR 3 Lite was installed in a few boards to get dvd key. So the wires looks a little worn at the end. But it was working fine. The demon had one point on the qsb side that was burnt off so I just used a wired from the point to the top of the board to the pad. It reads and writes nands fine and no errors. first loaded up the old nand and updated to newest dash. Then took that nand off and then with the cpu key made a glitch image to put on the demon. Once I got it on the demon the retail side boots up without any issues. But when we switch to the demon it gives a RROD with secondary error 0010. Cant get it to boot the glitch image. My pics and my JRunner logs are included.

Write the stock NAND to the DemoN and see what happens.

If you get 0100 still, look through the 'modding services' section to get someone to install this for you properly.

Ok but retail on demon and it boots up fine no problem... I done a few installs on CRs... I guess I need to check my solder points again.. Make sure i didnt get anything crossed or wrong.

I found the noremap option. Is that the Demon/Fusion rewrite bad block option? Just making sure, I'm selecting the right options. Also to erase the nand on the demon which option is that? Is it the custom nand/cr function option? Just want to make sure. Thanks martin.


Ok after all that martin suggested, I did. I even tried the demon toolbox to erase and tried one or two option in that to write the nand to the demon. Still get a rrod 0010. Check the qsb points with meter to make sure that no bridges and dont have any. Not sure what else to check to see what might be causing the error.

Sorry for the solder mess... I did take it out of a xbox that was given to me.. same with the CR it worked fine and had a heard time getting to glitch when installed. I did get the demon to boot now. I think its the glitcher having some problems.. I toke everything off and replaced with fresh wires and clean up. Also replaced the cpu rest wire with one of the blue wire. It now glitches on demon and retail. Sorry would never send it to someone nobody around and dont trust anyone. Plus right now I couldnt afford to pay someone and shipping. I'm disabled and on a fixed income. Thank you martin for your help.

Question for you guys.. will the glitch time be slower with a demon installed and running rgh2? I think I read that somewhere that the glitch times are slower...It take 3-6 tries to glitch but thats not bad. Sorry my soldering was sooo.. bad but this was one of my first install of cr. My soldering has gotten alot better since I installed this cr the first time. The demon was installed good.. Just my crappy soldering of the CR.

Not a problem - regardless of whether you intended to use the advice given is your choice. It doesn't change the advice given. It was the fact you posted images of the soldering which TBH, you can SEE how badly it was soldered. Therefore from this I deduced you didn't think there was anything wrong with it.

Dont know if anyone has had issues getting both sides booting right. Right now I can get the glitched side to boot ok, but I have the switch set to slim and boots fine. Then when I switch to retail it just sits and nothing happens. If I switch the switch to phat it boots up fine. Now should you see a the debug light blink a little when you turn on in retail?? Just want to make sure. I have tried all the files and the best one is the rgh2 falcon option. Seems to get best results. I'm going to try to replace the cpu rest wire with the shielded and see if that helps. But any comments are welcome. Also going to take new pictures of the demon and cr. Since I resolded everything to get it cleaned up and better since I did this board a while back ago when I first started using CR.

Don't use falcon. I had the same problem. Use timing C or B then see if both boot correctly.

Ok tried all timing files and just sits and flashes the debug light. Going to try another reset wire.
