Hey Guys,

I just installed the demon and had to do an alt point on the nand it self but I finally got it to read in Jrunner. Here is the output.

It said they were the same which is good I think but the part that concerned me was "Header is wrong"

Should i proceed or is there something wrong?

Code:

Update:

Switched to the xbox 360 nand and got the message "manufacturer for code 3F not found" so i guess the wiring is messed up somewhere :/

I'll keep trying!

No, there's nothing wrong.

You should be following a 'common sense' approach for testing the DemoN.

If you don't know what that could possibly be, get it to a pro installer.

It was a simple question :)

When one thing says "wrong" and another says "same" its a little contradicting

You're getting 'header is wrong' is because you're apparently trying to read and validate an empty NAND. You should know this already, hence curious as to why you started a thread with the question and no pics of your install or results on continuity checks between the NAND points and the NAND itself.

"manufacturer for code 3F not found" means your connections to the nand on the board aren't okay.

I recently had to solder a DemoN Slim into a Phat box (Lack of funds and I was in a experimental mood) and it gave me that exact error. Even when I redid all the solder-joints it still gave me that error.

I just had to do them all AGAIN and AGAIN and then it worked.

9 out of 10 times problems that arise are solder problems.
