DemoN Internal mod

ok so heres my demon install mod, the reason i did this was because i dont like the "original" place to put the external module, i personally think is ugly aha, so i decide to do this. you need a mini usb and cut the end and solder the wires to the the usb port

Pros: everything is internal and has a clean look
Cons: (none to me) but you lose one usb port

this is not a tut, just showing off my work/mod

It reminds me of adding "proper" USB ports to original XBOX consoles .

lol i knew i was going to get this from someone, but yes, to me it looks ugly having the ribbon cable and gnd cable coming out like that, but thats just me

The other option is to cut away two slats of the top grill and have it on the top of the console...

lol yes i know about that one to, but like i said, my way looks cleaner (to me) and i didnt have to do any cutting to my side grill

I have no problem with cutting a few slats off the back of a console, I have a phat jasper and have no problem ripping off a memory card slot cover for the usb and button for the DemoN, And thats on the front. I think it's a cool mod, But personally I'd rather have the original DemoN port. He didn't come asking for help on the usb port he messed up, He just wanted to show what he did, And it's his console so who cares. The only thing is some people might try this and come back asking for help.

Martin C ok you win (not), ahah, but i never had to use all usbs all at once, not even two at once, and plus, its harder to find a white grill for my star wars console, and all this is reversable, all i have to do is desolder the wires and solder the usb pins back together. so no big deal.

thank you, i was just showing what i did aha, i dont mind the way it looks on the phat consoles, because thier no wire/ribbon cables coming out, that just sits in the front memory slot (that i have never used) so it doent bug me as much as the slim consoles demons, but like i said thats just me
