Anybody out there willing to fix my trinity modded box? I put in a coolrunner revA 2 years ago and recently upgraded to a demon. All soldering is good, maybe not primo, but alot better than some posts I have seen. Thing is I had both retail and rgh sides working and during a update with M$ to the retail side, I lost power to the house. since then lost both sides, then was able to reflash the nand on the rgh side but can't get the retail going. I have been at this for weeks and it may be a simple solution but I am now at the end of my rope. In this process I lost the usb connection on the back of the demon(outside the box) and successfully patched an old usb to the ribbon cable, however, sorry the software side of the programming is lost on me. I have followed tuts on rebuilding retail from rgh but have no idea what my original nand dash version was. I know that my fuse #2 has 4 f's and my fuse 7 has 7 f's. So I know that I am post dash. Don't get me wrong but I am at the point where I wish I had known the $89.00 refurb was available to run the live side, instead, I have a piece of hardware in my box and I am still where I was before I put the damn thing in. I am willing to ship in NA as I live in North Bay, Ontario, CA. Any ideas. Sorry, I'm not usually the giving up kind. If you want I can post soldering pics, but not sure if that is of any use at this point. Also, during my many flashing and box disasembling I lost the ability to open the dvd drive, however, still boots to xell on the eject button, and now the green light flashes constantly while playing on the rgh side.. this is awesome... but beyond my 40+ year old brain to figure out. Someone smarter maybe? So Last thing I did was build a 16747 retail image, then flash, then change to demon and build and 16747 rgh image w/freestyle dash and flash. Only freestyle will boot. but like I said no dvd opening and flashing green the whole time the box is on.

Follow this guide to get the CB version, and the ldv. http://team-xecuter.com/forums/show...cover-from-losing-NAND-(but-have-ECC-written) Once you have this information, you can make a new retail nand and flash it back to your console using the demon. I understand that the guide is for if you flash the ecc, and loose the original nand, but it is basically the same process. Once you get a new retail nand on the system, you can update via live like you normally would.

^^^^ Follow Gavin's advice, if u get stuck, boot xell and and obtain your xell fuseset values and raw dump over network by entering your xbox ip into your interweb browser. Pm me and I will rebuild your retail NAND. Do u have the original NAND dump backed up?

One idea I just thought of, probably way off track. Is it possible I have been flashing good retail nands, but for some reason the demon is not dissableing the coolrunner when on the xbox nand? I have to admit I'm not to sure how it works and I know the soldering involved with the demon instal is way more difficult with the pre rev c coolrunner's. I did a really good inspection of the wire that goes to the last post on the chip and there is no bridging. But could that be the cause of my problem?
I'm referring to the wire that normally goes to the CR_EN pad on the rev C chips.
