Demon Issues

Ok, So far the demon instructions have been the vage compared to other team-x products.

I can't find anywhere saying I need to have glitched the console before I use the demon.

So I proceeded to solder in the demon... Then the cool-runner. Without changing the software.

Then when connecting it to J-Runner i get an error failed to grab handle, however I got two identical good reads using the demon tool box.

But can't write an ecc image. So now am pretty stuck needing some help here

Did you test the Demon before installing it as stated in the instructions that came with the device? Also post some pictures of your install, sounds like you've got a switch set incorrectly or a bad solder joint somewhere, although being able to read the onboard nand successfully makes that a little less likely.. Pic of the error from J-Runner would help too, could be a software issue on your PC.

You big mistake is not doing 1 thing at a time.

Step 1. You should had install the cool runner get it working.
Once you have sorted any problems if any and got the system up and running with the cool runner then you can tackle the second step.

Step 2. Test the demon before you connect to rule out up front issues.

Step 3. Install the Demon if you had any problems you could rule out step 1 and step 2.

But since you have installed all together you are all over the place and your problems can be anywhere. I would start with a problem being with a bad solder problem but who knows.

Post pictures of your work.

I would install demon first, get to 2 good NAND dumps, write stock NAND to demon side, to make sure demon is installed correctly. Then install coolrunner. Just my opinion.

Unless your like me who got the Demon with a coolrunner only.
We have no way of programming the coolrunner to even glitch the system.
So first we need to check the demon, install the demon, test nands.
Then install the coolrunner , set timing files, etc.
Unless mentioned jokingly that they make a CR power kit for the demon before full installation.
