Hey guys,

So I have now got my demon working. I can read and write NANDS and have put a stock NAND on both to test the booting etc.

However, whenever I try to flash my coolrunner via the external USB port I get TDO mismatch? I have reseated all USB ribbons and now unsure what to try next.

I have noticed one wierd thing. Before I installed my Demon my small block Jasper will only boot glitched if the coolrunner is set to PROG / PHAT. No light on the coolrunner however it works flawlessy and has done for the past 3 months.

I have flashed my coolrunner with my NANDX through Jrunner using the updated XSVF files but still no glitch? I have tried A & D. I might try and see if I can get my old glitch working again to make sure the coolrunner is still working as it should.

Any other suggestions?

Have you used the alt point for 3v3? eg 3v3 switched or the phat QSB.

If you have used 3v3 switched then you will not be able to program the coolrunner till its powered. eg turned on.

Pics please - you've not wired something up right if this is the case.

Don't use that point on the QSB for 3v3, use the one suggested in the pictures for Coolrunner wires install.
When you use the QBS 3v3 point the coolrunner is off when the console is off, so its not getting powered when your trying to program it.

I was wondering how the 2.5 QSB was going to work with the DemoN .....
Not very good lol, I was fixing a Demon last week, and he had that QSB and the Demon fitted.

To program the coolrunner he had to boot retail nand, then program the coolrunner whist that was on. Turn it back off, switch to Demon nand and then boot again!

I was like WFT, opened it up and switched points. Boot times where better on switched though.

Upgraded to Rev C. Coolrunner. and changed the 3v3 point. Found a fault with one of my points. Changing it now and testing. Will report back.

I now have flashing green light on coolrunner etc.

UPDATE:

Made no difference. All points are correct. Just isn't glitching. I've tried all RGH demon XSVF's. Even the Falcon one.

Jrunner has demon timing files . I tried all 5 of them and all 4 of the custom ones from this forum.

I will post pictures tomorrow but I have checked all points 3 times and used a multimeter on them to test. I haven't personally found any issues. I have the jumpers as stated however I know sometimes it fan differ on all Xboxes.

SOLVED

Moved back to Rev. B Coolrunner and changed the shielded CPU RST cable to the standard one. Glitching again now.

Question is... I'm on 14719. To upgrade to latest Live release on my stock NAND do I just update via XB Live and then make a glitched copy of that dump for my glitched NAND?
