My trinity is already on RGH CR rev.B dash 14719 and I want to install the DemoN, I already installed the drivers and tested read write functions in the toolbox and it seems fine.

Now what I want to do is build a retail image and update my NAND to the latest dash and keep the stock NAND on the xbox so I can play live and write a RGH2 image on my DemoN nand. I read the sticky's but its still not clear how to do this.

If I do this should it work?:

1- build retail image write it to xbox
2- update from USB
3- Read new NAND and build an RGH image from it
4- Write image to DemoN
5- Install DemoN

And on the demon switch blue light is demon nand or xbox nand?

You should have your original NAND already? If not, before even trying to install the DemoN build a retail NAND from your RGH NAND using a stock SMC and values from XELL for CB/LDV, as there's a chance you could be banned or even have an image without original files. Both situations would make the DemoN pointless for your intended use.

If you have the original NAND, why are you building a retail image??

The drive is connected with the OFW the 4GB memory contains save games from FSD could this be it?

Update via XBL.
Thanks that worked!Okay now I updated the Dash got a new dump created a new RGH2 image and wrote it using Jrunner to demon I installed it, but only Stock nand boots.

The CR rev.B was programmed with the trinity demon timing file, it keeps on glitching but doesn't boot.it used to boot in under 30 sec I left it for around 5 min.BTW the orange and brown cables are connected

BTW I tried to connect the demon to the PC and it tells me "USB Device not recognized" when I removed it and returned the switch to PC mode it worked normally

Write your working stock NAND image to the DemoN, disable the CR and tell us if the console boots with the DemoN NAND selected.

If it doesn't, there is something wrong with your DemoN install and you should post some images.

You should also make sure that the switch on the DemoN is set to XB.

Ok - DemoN installs are not for noobs. I'm sure you've seen me write this a hundred times by now.

there are basic common sense checks to perform which I really doubt you've done.

Continuity checks.
Ensuring the DemoN NAND boots ok with stock (it's dual NAND - no reason why it won't).
Checking all soldering/wiring is good
etc.

I suggest posting pics of your install if after all this you still can't get even the stock NAND to boot.

EDIT: BL4K3Y beat me to it!

It was the CR, when I re assembled I switched the Rev.B that was installed with an rev.c that is not working and keeping it to take components out of it.

Anyway, now its booting both NANDS, Stock on XBOX and RGH on DemoN. BUT I am still getting the "USB device not recognized" when I connect it to windows with USB through the slave board.

I will post pics tomorrow I really need to get some sleep now.

Thanks Martin & BL4K3Y

One of my laptops does that, but the other works fine.
