Demon & Rjtag question?

I just did my first demon & rjtag install for a customer and I installed the hacked nand on the demon and retail on the stock nand, I know nothing is really safe for live but as long as he only goes online with the stock nand should it be ok? When you turn the demon off does it also turn the rjtag off?

If you installed it properly he should only be able to go online with the 360 NAND.

I followed both guides, the only thing I'm not sure about Is that I didn't install the little pcb that came with the demon because it said it was for the Coolrunner, Is that supposed to be installed for the rjtag with the wire to the CR_EN pad?

What are you doing installing a DemoN when you don't understand the basics?

Read the card. get him to send the console back you. Find someone with sufficient experience to fix your mistakes.

I did read the card and the guide said for coolrunner and nothing about the rjtag. I still have the console thats why I was asking to see If It needed to be installed. So from the sound of your comment I take it that the small pcb needs to be connected to the rjtag header and the cr_en wire needs to be installed, correct.

Not at all.

You could just read the R-JTAG description via your resellers product information page.

K, I ran the smaller ribbon cable from the demon to the rjtag and didnt install the Demon CR pcb and Its instabooting the hacked img, Is that the correct way? Its my first one and you have to learn.

Apparently if you're a master skill level, you don't need to learn anything.

I didn't set that skill lvl that I know of, lol.

Thanks for reading and commenting, after reading the overview on XC I installed it correct to the ribbon cable connector on rjtag.

Well I will change that to TX NOOB, lol. No wonder I didn't remember filling that out, It was 8yrs ago.

I had It hooked up correctly, just wanted to verify since it was my first Demon.
