Re: Slim Demon Rebuild Points

Another alternative would be to buy a 360-Clip and pop that on the NAND. It has a breakout board attached which you can just solder to. Less risk and provided you fix in place with a little hot-glue/tape, should do the job.

THANK YOU big_ted!!!

I was having no luck trying to connect to all four of the pins on the NAND. I could grab two of them without an issue, especially because the outside pins are all Not-Connected, but I was lost thinking about connecting those last two.

Your chart showed me exactly where to scratch to easily grab the middle two pins. You saved my day man! My Trinity DemoN thanks you!

That is an anchor point and has no other function but that so if it's dead it won't effect the demon functions at all

Is there another alternate to the re point on the slim?

Customer lifted pad on bottom and nand pin. Now boots red dot but works fine.

Trace wire or replace the NAND.
Can you show me the trace please, I cant run a continuity test to see since the nand pin isnt touching the motherboard. Thanks again.

RE is clearly labelled in the image in the OP.
Ok, so the second trace, thanks. I was wondering if there was a difference in layouts between slim and phats.

NAND is NAND - search free60.org for NAND pinouts. They're the same for all consoles (incl. PS3 NAND).
I was just there thanks

Edit: Error code is 0031 after trace repair. Any fixes.

Known fixes

1) Reflow the RAM and Southbridge
2) Loosen your heatsink screws and make sure the heatsink isnt shorting out a capacitor...
3) Replace the faulty RAM brick
4) X-Clamp replacement
5) Replace dvd power cord. Short in the dvd drive cord or the cord is in backwards.
6) un-bridged U6T1 or U6T2 (point that protect cpu-fuse)
