Demon + slim proto installed, now what?

Hi!

I've just installed a Xecuter Demon and a Slim Proto (v1) in my xbox slim 250gb Trinity.

Now I am to a point where i had to save / backup the original NAND. I've done this with Demon. So far so good.

But now i don't know how to go from here? What do i need to do next? (i have the new j-runner software and it works a bit different than the old software, i can't seem to find how to go from here with the new software?

How do i RGH my xbox from here? Of what other steps do i need to take now?

Create ecc, write to demon nand, boot the console to get xell.Grab cpukey and create XeBuild image(I'm using nohdd XeBuild patch and backups are on external).Write the image to the demon nand.
Note: Slim Proto v1 don't have CR_EN, use the pin from this post: http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=140578 you can solder it directly to demon CR_EN, no need for that board.

But would you mind to make a more step-by-step explanation? Or more detailed?
(i'm really afraid i mess something up) (i have a lot of experience with tuning and soldering ECU's for race cars, and i know that you can mess things up really fast with soldering or programming)


And what do you mean by CE_EN? You mean this:

It's the same process as RGH(find instructions in jrunner.pdf), the only diffrence is that you read nand from xbox and write to demon.If you dont have bad blocks on demon you can test it.Write stock to demon, disable proto [unsolder 5v(red wire)from proto] and boot the console from demon nand(no need to connect the drive and the wifi module).It should boot stock.

New problem, going to check my soldering today.

When i want to boot, it only boots in normal mode. When i switch to demon ( to get into Xell) it won't boot, the green light on the slim proto won't blink. I searched the problem and most people have a bad soldering point somewhere on the proto qsb.

Why are u following outdated tutorials? The products u are using are Team Xecuter, each have well written comprehensive install guides stickied in their relevant sections on this site. Good luck.

When you open the demon box it has a little note in it ..this chip is for Advanced users only / the note should include if you have no RGH experience .You should just RGH your console first before installing this chip This would save Lots of new people from being overwhelmed !!!!

Well i got to learn this stuff sooner or later, how else am i'm going to be an advanced user

Good news, i got it all working now. I can boot in normal mode or in Demon. Now i'm going to install Xexmenu and see how that goes.
