so i fully installed a 16mb phat demon with the coolrunner rev c , installed the rgh2 setup for the coolrunner and coolrunner works fine becuase i put the ecc on the stock nand and pulled up xell reloaded and got the cpu and dvd key . so then installed the demon and from the begining the console will not power up at all , so just finished the demon install and the demon works fine so i dont know what the hell is going on , i reads and writes the stock nand and as far as i can tell it read and writes the demon , just no power when i push the power button or even when i use jrunner to power cycle the console , i tried to upload the pictures and video here but my smallest pic size is 1.21mb so how do you put pics on if they dont fit in the 500k size ??
here is a link to the photobucket where i put the pics and even a 4min video
http://s1231.photobu...ut not console/

so heres what is going on , i first rgh1 on the console to get the info for the console like the cpu and dvd key and info , then i wrote back the original nand to the console , turned the coolrunner to program and powered the console on , worked fine . then i soldered the demon to the bottom of the board and went just fine , then i tried to power on the console and nothing , i thought maybe i was different because i also could not use the nandx to read the nandx anymore so thought that was normal because it did the same for the slim demon too , so i moved on to soldering in the wires for the demon and still went great , hooked everything up and now there is power to demon controller so dont have a clue , it reads and writes to both the stock nand and the demon nand no problem , but no power still ??? now i am confused because this is the thrid phat demon install on three different consoles with one demon and i am having so many problems

STBY_CLK is on the console's motherboard - it's the left pad at R4B24 (nearest the resistor).

If you damaged the trace or removed the pad/resistor, the console won't boot.

Remove all that glue, especially from the DemoN itself!

Can you take some clear close-up images of the quick solder points please.

It may just be me but the demon looks a little crocked and there seems to be little I the way of solder used on the qs points

My apologies, what I ment was that the demon chip looks like it not aligned straight with the points that solder to the board, and (this may make no diff.) it looks like you did not use very much solder when joining the demon to the mother board. Again it's just my personal preference when soldering to use a larger amount of solder on the joints.

i use a good amount of solder to provent the other solder joints from leaking into each other i am uploading a new video of the install and a full reading from both the stock and demon side of the console to prove that it read and writes on both the stock side and the demon side so maybe the demon is once again a bad demon chip ??? tx has great products so i am not cutting down there work at all.

so used hot air system to remove chip with out ripping pads and went great so thought i should resolder one point at a time and found that the d pads d0 threw d7 are the problem , not what do i do now ? return it ? it was powering on and off until i got to d4 and then i was hit and miss so took it off again and turned on console while i resoldered everypoint and stayed on , then i turned it off and now it will not turn back on , wtf , i have installed it three times now and everytime when the demon chip is installed the console will not power up and then when i remove it the console works fine , it will read the stock nand and write the stock nand but will not work if the demon is installed

You will need to check continuity with all the solder points. The demons qsb points are more difficult than the cr. They take a bit more skill and care. It does look as if your alignment is off in a couple of those pics. First time I had problems I pulled my hair out until I checked the continuity just one qsb point was not making contact.

Good luck.
