Demon USB Driver For JRunner & Windows 8

Im trying to install the Demon USB driver on Windows 8 so jrunner can detect why demon chip (show DemoN logo in jrunner) but the installation keeps failing. Is there a different driver for windows 8?

goto command prompt with admin privileges and run following command

bcdedit /set loadoptions DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit /set TESTSIGNING ON

Then restart your windows 8. Now try to install the Demon driver.

Tried that but it didnt appear to work .

In order to get the driver to install on Windows 8.1 i need to

Go to Windows Metro Screen
Move mouse to lower right hand side of screen until settings cog appears and click on it
click on 'Change PC Setting'
'update and recovery'
'recovery'
and then click on 'restart now' under 'advanced startup'
troubleshoot
advanced options
startup settings
and then the system will reboot upon restart you'lllsee a window with a list of options, pick number 7, Disable driver signature enforcement

I did that but I am unable to open a COM port. It shows the DemoN icon when using j-runner. When I click monitor COM I get a pop-up that says "No COM ports were found"

Win 8.1 x64

running JR as admin


Edit: Hooked it up to a Win7 laptop and it installs a COM port, however it doesn't seem to send any data.... :/
