Console Type:Trinity
NAND size: not sure
Dashboard version: 13604
CB version: 9188
Tx products TX DEMON SLIM and a coolrunner rev c

im not sure if this in in the right part of the forum because it could be a few things

i installed a demon in a trinity because i wanted to get the dvd key as the console

was sold me with a dead drive and i couldnt dump the dvd drive ,

so i fitted a demon and a coolrunner and dumped the nand for the keys e.c.t

bought a new drive and read up about it on here and saw i had to make myself a new orig.bin

i did this with all the relevent info and flashed the drive

now if i boot up in stock i get red dot on the front of the console when i go to play an origional game

but if i boot up into fsd i get theres a data dvd in the drive , now im assuming that i didnt build the orig bin correctly

but why would this cause the red dot ? ps the dvd drive is 9504

What is the secondary error code when the red dot shows?

If you don't have Dummy.bin or the OFW saved from the drive, you have two choices - LTU or WriteKey.

im probably missing the point but when you say secondary error code ? i just get a blank screen

and is writekey where you use regedit to add the string writekey with a value of 1 ? then build a orig.bin using your serial numbers off you lazer and case e.c.t. ?

if it is thats what i tried before my red dot problem

i also would prefer a stock drive as i have a demon fitted

im assuming ltu is lite touch ultimate ?

I cannot see why you couldnt use a stock firmware on your ltu board. I do know with the older model ltu boards, that if you flashed stock to it, it would work, but then you couldnt unlock it to flash a custom firmware later. With ltu2.0 boards, it has a lock/unlock switch, so this shouldnt be a problem. Or so I would think. I am not certain here, as I have never tried to flash a stock firmware to a ltu board, but as they are sold for "Repair Purposes Only" or at least that is what it says on every retailers web site I have ordered from, then I would think that it would be possible.

I was thinking ltu was firmware ? Is it the replacement board you buy ?

Because if it is then im screwed as i already spent way too much on the console so far

First i bought a jrpv2 and a coolrunner then found out the nand couldnt be read that way

so bought another console( phat falcon ) and fit the coolrunner in there

Then it was suggested i bought a demon so i did along with another

coolrunner and fit them in to this console (trinity slim ) then i couldnt update the dash on the stock nand

Because of the no dvd drive problem so bought an unlocked drive and now cant flash it to stock

Ps the drive is just an unlocked 9504

I think i will have to just leave it for a while untill i can afford to buy anyhting else for it (if i need too)

Oh yer need a power pack pffff

first thing is the original drive for this console a 9504 drive.your KV_info log will tell you this.

it will say Osig: PLDS DG-16D4S 9504

because if the original drive is not a 9504,then it's pointless using the lizfix to build a new original dummy file.

if your original drive is a 0225/0401/1071 then the only way then is to buy a LTU2 pcb.

if all you need to do is update the stock nand, assuming the console is on 15574 or above, dump your nand stock nand, and create a new stock 16547 image, write that back, and the console will have been updated to the latest dashboard. Then all you need to do is insert a flash drive with the system update on it, and it will install the avatar and kinect data to the HDD, and everything should work, other than reading disks. on top of that, I believe that LTU boards have been discontinued, because of a replacement product that hasnt been released yet, so you may need to wait a while.

did you build a 9504 fw for your drive.

as your on
13604 dash your drive needs to be flashed with the 0272 stock fw.

so load the 9504 fw you made into source, then load the
0272 stock fw into target, and press spoof source to target, then write the 0272 fw to your drive.

see if that works for you..

you can also build your rgh image with nofcrt.

quick update i did build a 9504 fw for my drive and when i choose LTPlus-9504 as target the same thing happend on stock (red dot )

but in fsd it recognised the game so im assuming i created the firmware right ?

so now i will try your suggestion to load 0272 stock fw into target , just one question though will this lock my drive ? or would that only be if i took a dash update ?

if your drive is already unlocked, then once you have wrote the 0272 stock fw to your drive, spi lock the drive, then do the dash update.

unlocked pcb's can be locked and unlocked again.if it's be unlocked before..

i looked on jungleflasher for the lock spi button and

when my drive is pluged in to jf the button dissapears to lock spi ?

does this mean i dont need to lock it ?

done that now thanks for all your help

just one last thing if i need to unlock it would i have to do one of the hardware hacks ?

like the basic russian hack on page 228 in the jungleflasher tut ?
