this is so fustrating after doing all this i booted to stock nand and took the update it downloaded
and did what it needed to do .
now the stock nand wont boot i just get a black screen then eventualy a red dot
i tried flashing my origional nand dump back to the xbox stock nand with the same results
im asuming its because i cant downgrade to my old dash is why i cant use my origional dumped nand ?
so i then tried to make an updated nand with the newest dash also with the same results
it still obviously boots when the demons switched to fsd

i flashed ecc to stock nand and booted to xell fuse set 2 had an extra f on it midway through the line
so i thought i would take another nand dump then make a new updated nand to flash to the stock nand
i flashed it and i forgot that i had written an ecc to my nand so when i booted with my newly made nand it obviously booted to xell
the problem is i havent take a nand dump without the ecc being flashed to it and im realy confused where to go and what to do next
to get a nand dump just so i can run a retail stock dash on the xbox side of my demon maybey stop !!! ???

the demon nand will read the fuses from the cpu, so you shouldnt need to write the ecc to your stock nand. make a donor nand with your keyvault. flash that to stock.
ah i didnt realise that
the thing is i did write it to my xbox nand before taking the nand dump
so i will look into creating a new nand as you suggested thanks

But you dumped the NAND already right? Where did you safe them?

when i first installed my demon i still have them nand dumps
its after i tried to update , i wrote xell to my nand and then withouth thinking i dummped the nand with xell still in it
are you saying theres nothing i can do ?
or did you just mean ignore that last post ?

Yeah sorry, I wrote it and after I posted it, I read your previous posts a little more thorough realizing you updated and didn't dump again (well with ecc on it).
I believe you still can make a new retail NAND with your keyvault from your (good pre updated) previous dumped NAND.
i just managed to make another nand from my first dummped nand i guessed that because my origional nand was ldv 6
i changed that to ldv 7 and that booted but the only problem was it was a rgh nand
so both demon nand and xbox nand were booting rgh
i then thought if i ticked the retail dash option and did exactly the same it would work
it didnt !! red dot again
its got to be just something im not geting i just dont know what though

use the xell fusesets to make sure your building the right dash version for your cb the console is expecting,its patched out on rgh images.use martin c's guides to xell fuses to figure all that out.
ive read martin c's guides to xell fuses and off that i can sort of work out that its
the fuselines 02, 07 and 08 which i need to pay attention too
my 02 reads F00F000000000000 so is this cseq 4 ?

i hope it doesnt look like im ignoring advice i have tried everything that has been suggeted so far but all with the same results
i tried making a new nand by using my old dumped nand and jugleflasher by extracting the nand and placing the extacted files
into the xebuild data folder then editing them then the advance tab and create an image without nanddump.bin
made sure my ldv was 6 as shown above .
i tried this with a donor nand ive tried with the clean_smc zip off another thread
ive tried flashing my old dash in both of the nands i created above also the new dash
im at a loss now but still reading as much as possible and trying as much as possible
if anyone else has any ideas please let me know

you should start from scratch.. and post pictures of your install. and use the RGH help template.. might get more help then.
Seriously ??? I completed the template on the very first post !
I have another thread with my install pictures on it !
and its nothing to do with the install it was working untill i tried
to update my stock nand then it broke
my issue is (all in this post ) that i didnt dump the stock nand
before i tried to update it and now it failed i only have my
old nand dump . So i need to make a stock nand with all the info
i have on my pc well at least one that works so i can
boot my stock nand side this is where im failing !

I didn't see install pics or any jrunner screenshots/logs.. sorry if you posted in another thread.. should of stuck to one thread.. I'm no pro on RGH.. just thought some of the more experienced members didn't bother to help since you didn't complete the template. If you can boot into xell and you still have original nand from before you installed anything. you should have all the info you need to create a new retail nand. as your console sits now.. post a screenshot of xell, and upload your nand. maybe someone can make it for you.

why dont you plug a ethernet cable into your xbox,boot xell,load your old nand into j-runner and put your ip address into the ip box,and press get cpu key.
this way you will get the right LDV,as you have done a update,so your LDV would of increased.
then using your old nand dump,create a new retail image with what ever dash you updated to,and with the correct LDV.

ive been trying to do this but xell keeps crashing now with a xell segmentation fault

i have installed everything fine confirmed in other posts i have made
i first couldnt read nand with jrp v2 and it was you who suggested spi in the southbridge i think
and you suggested a demon was the only way so i bought one and through the help on here i installed it and had it working stock and fsd
then i needed a new drive as the old one was bricked ,
i also sorted this thanks to everyone on this site and then after taking the update on the stock nand is where im at
i have a working xbox but can only get fsd running on both sides and no stock
i suppose i could always just leave it how it is
this is where i messed up the update gave me a black screen and i stupidly didnt take a nand dump before i tried
i only have the first nanddump from the old dash .
i havent chose to ignore any advice i have tried most things that have been suggested
and either through just getting a bit overwhelmed with all the info or just through my stupidity
im just a little stuck , and time i havent posted on here im still trying things to sort this ( ive spent hours reading and trying things )
im not after spoonfeeding and i only post on here when i have read and tried most things and im stuck
i just need a working retail nand i think and if need be will take it to a local pro installer to help
ive just spent soo much money on produts and parts to get this working so far that i just wanted to try and do it myself
