Do you have any usb hdd or usb sticks in the xbox when trying to boot xell? try with everything unplugged.

If that don't work, I would write your original nand to xbox. then load that nand in jrunner, create and write ECC. boot to xell and ip scan in jrunner and use info to create new retail nand.

Yes to all of the above. Not at any point did I recommend you do all of this yourself - I merely advised what *I* would do. See - this is why I tell people to get a pro to do it (and get shat on by others for suggesting such a thing). Did you read the card which came with the DemoN? You don't understand what you're doing full stop. Take it to a pro.

I will try that thanks xell booted just long enough to grab my

key and fusedata but will also try as you suggested later

You are welcome to bring it to me if you want to. As long as you have the original nand dumps from when you first installed the demon I should be able to bring it back to life.

ive sorted this after a few days break from it

i was going wrong by extracting my old nand (origional dump) i think instead of my demons nand

so i dumped my demon nand and followed martin c guide and page 26 of the jrunner .pdf

loaded it in jrunner , extracted it , renamed the kv_en.cin to kv.bin the smc_dec.bin and copied these and a file form the clean_smc / renamed to smc.bin to xeBuild/data folder e.c.t

and it worked . the only other thing i did was reprogram the timing file to the coolrunner and ticked demon installed

i dont think i ticked it last time ( would that have caused me the problems i was having ? )
