JTAG Desoldering issue

not all the wires connect to a pin so is it possible to leave some out by pulling the unused ones out of the block and only concentrating on the ones that actually connect to the NandX.

Silly question maybe, but what did you use as pins?

actually its the cut offs from the diodes
then soldered and heat shrinked.
Diode cutoffs are stronger than resistor ones.
