Hi I have tried and tried to fix this before posting but have had no luck so here goes. I am using Win 7 ultimate x64, Jungleflasher 1.96, X360USB PRO V1, CK3 Mini, homemade harness with probe and switch and I also have tried using the xbox for power for my liteon and I constantly get Drive key verification failed. I read through JF tut for three days now and searched the web and tried everything I could find and still no luck. I also have another DG-16D2S working in the console and I get the same results. For what it's worth I have three benq's and was able to flash with no issues except from having to probe two of those to get them into vendor mode. IDK why because the third one went into vendor mode without issues. I've tried on two different laptops to verify there wasn't an issue there and get the same results. Also on all of the drives mentioned I get screwy device info ie: Vendor:pLDC Name:DG-!6D2C F/W:0"5! Reserved:0CA A D0(CG7#8(0(0. I get the same screwy info with the benq's but I was able to flash them. Sorry for the long post but I wanted to be descriptive as possible. Thanks in advance.

just make sure that the MPX01 point is clean and your homemade probe is working
Thank you, I've have verified MPX01 is indead clean and probe is soldered to pin five ground on harness and a normally closed switch is tied into the 3.3v source on pin 6. Also I hit ok to resend the command, I pushed my switch to kill the 3.3v connect to MPX01 release the switch and get the message Serial flash found with Status 0x52, remove the probe, press switch and release and then I get the phat key failed. I played around pressing the switch "disconnecting 3.3v" for the five seconds and read that this is for capacitor type probes and without the capacitor then you need to disconnect 3.3v and turn right back on and I still get the same results with both liteons.

after you get status 0x52, you need to remove probe and power off the whole drive (not just the probe - 3.3v line ) for 5 seconds and then power back on

just to clarify he dont have to power off the whole drive i used TX probe 3 for long time i was pushing the switch to cut the 3.3 and not the whole drive , and now my probe damaged im using DIY probe and it work great in the same way

The second image is not mine credits to whomever but basically is how it's done with the exception of the probe it is tied to the ground right above the 3.3v switch line. I saved a screen shot of the screwy info in jungleflasher on a word document but have no idea how to attach it.

Try using a normal DVD power cable instead of your homemade probe just to rule out that your probe is or isn't at fault. I wudnt even try extracting the key until your weird info in your drive properties is sorted out.

I get the same thing. I tried reinstalling the drivers for usbpro, a different usb cord, istalled the programs on another laptop, tried all usb ports, and I tried running it on a Vm of xp sp3 and get the same device info on every drive I hook to it. Three benq's and two liteons. CarpeDiem seems to think it may be the usbpro malfunctioning. Any more ideas? Thanks for the replies.

Try re-programming the firmware on your X360USB Pro and also try another SATA cable.

If both of the above fail, try using the AUX power cable you got with your X360USB Pro.
Ok I have tried another sata cable and hooked up the aux power cable with no change. I will reprogram the firmware this afternoon when I get home and get back with you. Thank you

Ok, I got home hooked up x360usb pro to usb, opened up x360usb pro update tool v0.14 and I get "no device found". out of curiousity I switched it to bootloader no change, pressed the reset button no change. I hooked it up to my other laptop and ran the update tool and get the same thing. Funny thing is when I plug it in the computer it recognizes it as a removable disc, JF detects it as a x360usb pro v .20 but the updater dont see it at all. Downloaded another copy of the updater and it still don't see it.

OK first thing first I want to thank BL4K3Y he shared screen with me on team viewer and tried to fix my issue, though were unable to get anything to work I found he is a true Gent. Ok the issue was with x360usb pro. I sent out for a replacement last week and received my new replacement today. I was able to flash three lite on drives and one benq in record time. Thanks for all the suggestions from everyone and maybe the screenshots originally posted above may help someone out going forward.
