DGX program usb comms cable

Hello,

im sorry if this has already been discussed but i have searched everywhere on a tutorial on using the comms cable to get the cpu key. my DGX blinks green when i fire up so i know thats fine but i still cant get my cpu key . can someone please lead me in the right direction! thanks!!!

You can use the network cable as well, just like when booting XeLL in < 14719 Coronas.

Set the IP address / subnet mask / gateway before disassembling the console and follow the procedure as stated in tutorials.

No mandatory use of "com cable" at all, in fact I've never used that one because I don't have it and I'm familiar with the other choice.

Yes but you also know how to configure a network for TCP/IP communications.

People asking about the COM cable obviously don't know how to set this up properly.

Yes, that's probable Martin, but it seems to me easier to learn to set up your network properties rather than making that home-made cable.

Anyway you're almost forced to know how to transfer content via TCP/IP sooner or later when using a RGH'd 360, right?

Most folk get the idea they can just connect a LAN cable to their PC and it will do everything else for them. Learning TCP/IP for some is a big stepping stone.
