I don't see anything in here where you're needing help with a DGX.

If you've broken your console, I would recommend posting in the 'request a service or item' section.

Why would you try an solder to other points around it? That makes no sense to do. C5R14 looks to be damaged. That may be the reason for the red dot. You might want to attept to repair it or send it to someone to do it for you. Do you make sure that the heat sink has some pressure on it when turning it on? I see you don't have the x clamp on, so if you don't apply some pressure the Xbox will red dot. Also, like Martin said, you don't have pictures of the DGX even installed. Did you flash back the original nand to see if it boots??

sorry I did install the dgx uninstalled for the pictures so you guys could get a better look. I did flash back the stock nand before trying a regular boot when the dgx is wired in no green flashing light and the power light just stays green on the console

Does the console boot the stock nand? Or red dot? And You may want to make sure that the cap C5R14 has good connections to the board on both sides of it. In that area you may also want to look for a broken traces.

Okay did you make sure that C5R14 had a solid connection on both sides of it? It looks as though it's burnt up on the top side. You have a corona v2 so do you have dip 8 turned on? Actually you should get your console booting stock nand before you can do anything. My main concern is the cap that looks like its damaged. When you read your nand, did you get two clean dumps? And what is your concern about the point next to the cap?

it looks to me like the ft5r3 might not be soldered all the way after looking at it from this angle I will also try a continuity test on the resistor

my advice is take the cotton-fiock and alchool isopropyl or acetone and clean well all the places where you have worked.

Just clean, if you have a tester controls the conductivity of the QSB points whit motheboard...

After which with good flux redo the welds to QSB and check after work and cleaned with cotton-fiock etc.. the job done, the DIP-SWITCH DGX1.0S and you'll see that all is well.
