Very strange that this happened after you tried to update. Just so it's clear to me, you did try this with a previous nand it's still dong the same thing? It sure looks like a hardware problem put I suppose it is possible it's a software issue to.

yes
my theory is (dont laugh) but while updating there was something 4 the rol board...and it (obviously)failed:facepalm:

sounds like a solid theory to me do you by any chance have your old freeboot image left you could try to write that back on and see if the lights go away

It's more likely a hardware failure. Take your console apart and see if the board is loose. A bad ground can cause strange problems.

I can honestly say I have never seen that before, and I have seen some odd anomalies with the XBOX 360 and the ROL specifically.

It's odd for this to happen after a update but I would check the CoolRunner ground. Additionally, if you want to upload a copy of your NAND and CPU Key to the internet and send me a download link I would be more than happy to create a correct image for you.

your in luck as i have seen this before on my of my first jtag consoles, somehow i damaged the port that the RF board plugs into, i de-soldered it and replaced it with one from a bricked console, and it never did it again. give it a try if you want but like the other guys say make it into a nice console mod with a nice modded case

edit - i damaged it by trying to remove the mobo without realising the RF board was still connected
