FIXED Did I Blow Up My JR V2?

Having problems getting my Jasper 16mb booting to Xell all the time, I decided to try RGH2+ with the CR4 XL.

I rewired it for RGH2+ and connected it to JR2, I have the power supply plugged in with the console off, now I selected RGH2 & CR4 using my original nand dump, it creates the ECC file but when I go to write it, it says this:

RGH2 Selected
CR4 Selected
Jasper 16MB Manually Selected
ECC created
Version: 10
Flash Config: 0x00000000
Can not Continue

Now I hate to say this but when using the rater earlier, I had the rater cable and the green, blue and white connectors connected to the QSB's.

I just read that having the console powered on could damage your JR v2?

Is this correct, and have I blown it up, it still works with the rater and the green light is on but just comes up with the message above?

As far as i know, using rater means the console is Powered while jrprogrammer is attached to it...highly doubt you've blown it. I place my bets on what Bl4k3y said

That's good to know, and many thanks for all the advice.

I worked out the problem, when I got it the terminal on the end of the yellow wire was in the connector back to front, I could not push it into the socket on the QSB, when I worked out what was wrong I pulled it out and turned it around the right way, now its a little loose and doesn't go all the way in, I had to push it in with a fine jewelers screwdriver.

Luckily that's all it was and it wrote the ECC file without a hitch.

It would be great if you could buy those cables separately so I could use one with QSB's and one with direct solder method.

Now this may have happened. It's happened to me a few times when I was just starting. Desolder everything. try turning it on. If it doesn't turn on then it may be the C1D7 cap. If you applied too much heat to the nand points or had a wire touch it while reading(this isn't much of a possibility but it might happen.), it could short it out. If it turns on, then make sure all your solder points are solid. if they're not solid, that could 100% be the issue. Make sure all the wires are in the correct places. Pics would help though :D
