I was working on my xbox trying to desolder the LPC pins. Anyways I have this overhanging light that i used to see and when I lifted my soldering iron it hit the metal of the lamp, causing some sparks to fly, some *may* or *may not* have jumped onto the motherboard. Deciding this was a sign to stop for the day, I put my xbox back together so I could play. When I turned it on, it was flashing yellow and green. I then took my xbox apart, rechecked/connected everything, and then turned it on again. This time it kept turning on green for a second, then restart, turn green for a second, restart, turn green, then flash yellow and red. I looked at a list of LED meanings at: http://xbox-hq.com/html/xbox-tutorials-79.html but I dont see anything about Flashing yellow and red. What do I do? Can I fix it? Thanks.

Ok afew things might of gone wrong.
1. You lifter a track while de-soldering (Likely)
2. You Have shorted The board Due to the sparks (not Likely)
3. You Have Got Soldersplash somehow. (Likely)
Pull out a magnifying glass & check the board over.

dont worry too much the same thing happend to me when i first installed the chip...make sure to check all your points im almost positive something came loose

ive said this on a few posts now that its illegal to backup a backup. nobody will give any advice or help on this issue.

Okay....heres a point then...
I have the original disc....burnt a working backup to use with my work 360... now I have a daughter that treats my game discs like they are frigging coasters for dirinks, doesn't put them back in there cases usual teenager sh*t...no respect for property that isn't hers..lol
My backup disc is still working but my original WON'T will a spare drive flashed with the 0800 firmware work to copy that back up??

by law a peron is only allowed to own 1 backup copy of an original game they own. as this would mean you had 2 copies whether the original is wrecked or not makes no difference its still piracy.
0800 drives are for ripping originals mate.
