Ok guys, I've been searching here for 2 days and found nothing that helped me to solve this problem I have now, so here it goes:

Xbox: version 1.6 (not 1.6B)
Chip:Xecuter 2.6 CE
Method of installation: Xapt3r 1.6

Ok. I first messed up with the bios, trying to install the 4928 on all 4 banks like I have on my 1.4's. Then Tried to use my lite programmer (that I used to program my Xecuter 2.3b lite +) to put the [font=verdana, arial, helvetica]Evox M8+ 1.6 from Xbins on all
4 banks. Did it sucessfully but still have the red&green frag.

Then I F... it up real bad. Tried to install the Xapt3r with the original Xbox MoBo screw BUT I FORGOT TO UNPLUG THE POWER CABLE  while doing so. Xbox was off. When I finished it, the Xbox was 100% dead. No lights, no sound, nothing. tried to hear if anything powered up, nothing, like I said, 100% dead.

Once all other Xboxes I have home are 1.4's can't check the power supply.

Finally, THE QUESTION: HOW CAN I FIGURE IT OUT IF I NEED A NEW POWER SUPPLY, A NEW MOTHER BOARD OR A NEW WHOLE XBOX?

As this mod is for my "brand new" brother in law, I DESPERATELLY expect and will apreciate anybody's insight ASAP.

1st time I f.. up... feel so stupid... :(

Did you hear anything pop or short while you were working? Check to make sure you didn't accidentally unplug anything that would prevent the power from coming on.

No nothing poped or flashed or smoke. already unmouted whole MoBo and tested the power/eject button on another Xbox, evrything firmly mounted all connectios perfect and the power/eject PCB is perfect.

I'm about to use the voltimeter on the power supply to see if there's a problem there. Never used a voltimeter and I'm a little confused about settings and places to test.

Any tip will be highly apreciated!

I just did that test last night and as a good noobie got confused with the voltmeter setting. Should I use DC or AC?
