i practiced in some spare parts and the soldering was looking decent, but on the xbox i didn't even get the solder on it, i guess cuz i don't have flux, i will buy some tomorrow.

i only heated it a little, as i saw it was not working i didn't do it much time.

did i damage already something ?

Ps. i know flux was needed but i thought that buying Flux-core solder was enough :(

thanks for the help

The pics load up really small on my phone but they look ok. You'll notice a huge difference when using flux. I practiced on a old ps2 board with no flux for a few hours then got flux and I felt like I was a pro. Works extremely well! Don't continue till you get flux.

practice on the point labelled '12'. It's a ground point, so a bit harder to solder to (due to heat needed). However if you damage it, your console will still work.
