Hi all,I forgot to up date dash board before flashing dvd.
its a slim liteon 0225,i have sent it off to get unlocked and flashed .I only have via sata pci card,will i be able to flash it myself when unlocked ,to stock to update dash board.
I have no way of getting a x360usb at the moment.

all advice welcome.

why don't you ask whoever is doing it to update it first ! it's not hard
or did you only send the drive

wrong. jungleflasher doesn't store anybody's key on any servers. the key is stored in the key database on the pc it was flashed on. nowhere else.

I only sent the drive.I have a pc with intel sata controler on my motherboard would that let me flash the unlocked drive when it comes back,as the via sata sees's the drive but kept failing slimkey,been told slim drive are fussy with sata pci cards.

A) DVD key - either the person who flashed your drive may have this or it may be stored on the jungle flasher servers like mine is.
B) unlocked pcb - either via kamikaze method (hole in the controller chip) or replacement team xecuter pcb.
C) power source for drive - ck3 pro or similar, if you power from your 360, it's again generally regarded as a flag.

If you come back with the answers to those questions, somebody with more experience should be able to help you more :)

I do have CK3 PRO,I will have the key,it will be unlocked via Kamikaze,but will my via sata card work after its unlocked as it kept failing slimkey.

Can't you just stick another drive in the console update through usb and then al Will be good when you get your drive back?

No answer on the SATA until you try, but highly unlikely. Try it and if no joy grab a USBPRO. Would be good for you to have anyway as you need to go to stock before updating these days. Unless you are going to send the drive in to go stock every time you need a new dash update.

Won't a phat drive work just so it boots to dash to update it won't matter about key or anything cos your not wanting it for games just to update

The new updates will fail if the drive int he console is not the original drive type that came with the console.

Aren't people with spoofed drives still managing to update tho even tho its not supported their still managing to update just can't play the newer games
