)XDK is a great learning tool. (As I am just learning.)
I'm teaching myself c++ (slowly), like to dink around and see what happens... I'm a button pusher.
So far, my favorite part is that you can use windows explorer to quickly access whatever, no need to open an FTP program or such... Just click on the XBOX Neighborhood icon on your desktop and your in.
I also like that I can steal video (direct to PC) in-game...
I can grab a song from the hd while a buddy's in a game... ot too big though, it gets glitchy...
that kinda stuff... and learning.
Perhaps check it out... you can always undo it...

Hey man, I'm getting the whole XDK set up soon, the Dev Case, ports, and the BIOS. Where did you learn how to route it to the PC like you did through the Explorer and the video capture option? Guides? Tutorials?
Ok, this is everything I know about cheating on Halo...beamer_nkh said:
If you have a copy of Halo on your HDD you (supposedly) can open up certian .dat or .ini files and change different features in the games... that'll work for xbox connect and playing splitscreen.
As far as Xbox Live the only "cheats" I've found involve using errors on the boards. For example... on Bloodgulch there are a few places you can stand that will "hide" your head. Other players can still see it but the game will render a wall over it... it's a clipping error. So no head shots on you!
In Halo two there is a way to drop "behind" the screen on the board with the big spinny wheel... that way you are off the map and unseen but can still shoot other players.
DOn't ask me how to do this... I won't tell... just google it. Besides this was when it first came out and is probably fixed by now...
They are just clipping errors that you can use to your benifit. It's like when you see a guy on another guys sholders and if they jump right they'll go flying... it's all clipping errors.
