Did Tenchu Brick My 360?!

hey guys,
my 360 with ms25 non spoofed is on ixtreme 1.0 which i flashed about a week ago.
its been running fine, and ive never had any issues with it. its a release version of the console so its nearly 2 years old.

anyway, been playing games allweek been goin good, today i burn tenchu and stick the verb into my 360 it loads the game and immediately i go into the options to look at the controls and BAM!................... it freezes.

so i think, ok crap happens, ill just retart my console.

i do so and know i get no picture, just ring of death!

i followed the repair guide which states

THINGS TO TRY

1. Try restarting the console.
2. If restarting the console does not resolve the behavior, follow these steps:
* Turn the console off.
* Unplug all the power and AV cables from the console.
* Unplug the power cord from the wall socket.
* Firmly reconnect all the cables.
* Turn on the console.
3. If these steps do not resolve the behavior, turn the console off, remove the hard drive, and then turn on the console. If the 3x Red LED error light is no longer displayed, turn the console off, re-attach the hard drive, and then turn on the console.
4. Also examine the lights on the power supply. When you turn on the console, the power supply light should illuminate green even if the three lights on the RoL flash red.

that didnt work for me, my power supply goes green like normal.

anyone got any ideas for a fix?
i dont wish to purchase a new 360.

PS- Im pissed off! i escaped the first wave of banning too!
i looked at x-clamp and it looked too difficult to do for me. can anyone reccomend anywhere in london thats cheap if its my only method?

yea its not games fault, mine went dead on Saints Row Demo luckily i had 10 days left of warranty. The only thing i can think of is the hot air method.

i did the towel trick and it worked!
but im getting alot of crashes now, and im guessing the towel or hot air trick is actually damaging the console?

anyone know anywhere good in london to get an x-clamp done?
