the only reason for a dummy file is because the xbox may not recognize a disk with only 1024k on it.

now all that happens is that my lights flash is this fragging
So your xbox is Flashing Red And Green?
Can you boot to m$ dash with the chip disabled?
Can you get into config live by holding the white button on startup?

so if the xbox is off, and you hold the white button on a controller while turning on the xbox by tapping the power button, what happens?
Also, what happens when you turn on the xbox by pressing both the power and eject buttons at the same time? Does your x3 external switch light up purple?

great, now you can flash the bios. It would be really nice if you had your xbox linked to your computer so you could flash it via ftp. Can you do that? It's much easier than using a cd/dvd.

btw, what version xbox do you have?

alright, you've got a better dvd drive than me, so you can probably pull off flashing via cd. My Thompson drive sucks ass.

Rock Band Weekly: OK Go, The Police, War

Three bands add singles to their existing Rock Band catalogs next week - OK Go, The Police, and War.
Grammy Award-winning band OK Go adds to their Rock Band catalog next week with their single "Shooting the Moon." The band has three songs available already, including a fan-remixed version of their hit "White Knuckles."
Also available next week are two songs from English rockers The Police. "Every Breath You Take," with Pro Guitar / Pro Bass upgrades available, was the No. 1 single from the band's 1983 album Synchronicity, and "So Lonely" comes from the 1978 album Outlandos D'Amour. The classic rock band War also brings new music to the game with their first chart hit from 1970 "Spill the Wine."
As always, songs available as downloadable content for Rock Band 3 feature five-button guitar and bass parts, drums, Pro Drums, and keys, Pro Keys and harmonies, where applicable. Some songs also feature Pro Guitar and Pro Bass upgrades available for an additional $0.99 upgrade download.
Available on Xbox 360, Wii, and PlayStation 3 system on March 15

  • OK Go – “Shooting the Moon”
  • The Police – “So Lonely”
  • The Police – “Every Breath You Take” X
  • War – “Spill the Wine”
These tracks will be available for purchase as individual tracks on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 for $1.99, and $2.00 on Wii.
