Could someone please clarify the difference between the options of modding the xbox 360 slim 250gb
first of all is flashing the drive to play backups, I understand why this is done and that it allows you to play backup discs of your original games but my question is can you still play the games on live?
if so why go to the extreme of rgh? My other option was to go xecuter demon and proto v2 (if I can find one anywhere) I understand this can give me a dual dash the original xbox one and a custom one that allows me to use a hard drive to store backups etc can again the games be played on live through the custom dashboard or does live have to be played through the xbox original dash!! Also as updates come out can you just update the xbox as normal?
Any advice would be great and don't mind spending the money if its going to be worth it what would you guys do?

already had some info from Blakey which I appreciate thanks Blakey but don't like bugging people already sent him enough emails so thought this was the easiest way to get the info i need
