Wouldn't this link below be the more recommended tutorial? Just because it has the updated bootmaker and seems overall more updated.

Not sure why Textbook hasn't updated his "Textbook" because it seems like things could go wrong if you use out-of-date examples/things from his tutorial? Is this not right?

Finally, after dumping/creating the hacked firmware (before you flash it), is it possible to boot back into windows, save your orig.bin somewhere, just for a backup? Or can you not backup the orig.bin until after you have flashed the drive. With your orig.bin saved, is there a program like Firmware toolbox or something that can check if your key is right, before your flash it? Thanks!

Note: Flashing an MS28.

They are essentially the same, the new boot maker works with Vista, the old one doesn't. That's basically it. I haven't had the time or desire to update the tutorial. Nothing has really changed.

And nothing can go wrong if you follow the instructions with either tutorial correctly.
