Hope this is the right area for this question...
Im new to the scene as you can see - i always hax my pc box and been a pirate from the tender age of 11 or summin lol but this is my first venture into the xbox haxin world and im just curious to why people have various versions of vios installed on different banks on thier chips?

For example i've seen people post
Banks 1-4 ver 1234
Banks 5-8 ver 5678
why is this? do different versions do different things? if so why not just have the most upto date version installed?

Thanks guys...

beats me, personally I just have the latest version sitting on bank 1, there shouldn't be any need to have older versions sitting on the 2nd bank or whatever. Im sure some people have their reasons tho :)

0800 backups

hey all
is it necessary to run personal backups through abgx provided the original disc has been ripped using 0800 firmware and xbbc?
thanks

Re: 0800 backups

no, but if you do. turn the autofix to level 0 just to verify it......

my experience is that if i use abgx then it will change the ss from v2
to v1 and it drives me nuts.

Re: 0800 backups

Not always. I just ripped Call of Duty MW2 twice and ran both copies through ABGX with auto fix set to 0 and level 3. The SS stayed them same. Only thing is with autofix set to 0 both rips had a unverivied DMI. At level 3 it fixed the problem. Is having a unverified DMI ok to go on Live with?
