Different Methods of Flashing your bios

Is there any major differenct besides ease between flasing your non-3.03 x3 chip by another xbox, hard drive swap, and the x3 v3 lite programmer? Since I don't konw anyone with a modded xbox, my choices become the hard drive swap and the programmer to fix my v1.6b board problem.

I couldn't find any other store that had a programmer that claimed it can program the X3. Is this company just yanking our chains or is this legit?

unban a non jtagged xbox360?

is it possible to unban a non jtagged xbox 360 using the same method that you would use to unban a jtagged system?

As far as I know, any methods of unbanning a system have been patched by MS in recent updates.
