more of a question directly for martin .

When you did your stubborn jasper did you solder the solder pll bypass topside under cpu alt point its only a little thing I noticed and maybe this might help with one Ive been tinkering with.

Once again thanks for taking time out to help us

tried that blakey . on cold boot glitches first time . once board has current running through its a hit and miss issue spent ages doing this board . Before you ask will post up some pics later see if this helps. Its just a afterthought as I did a zeph once using the alt point mentioned above and bang it booted every time on first glitch

I only use topside CPU_PLL_BYPASS when I've repaired the underside and in those cases, I run the cable along the length of the heatsinks. This wire can suffer as much interference as CPU_RST so ideally a shielded cable would be better. The problem is, the point is so small that soldering to it means a lot of weight from the cable and invariably you'll pull off the point altogether. soldering to the bottom part of R7R17 is sturdier but I still would recommend against it.

Try other cap values between GND and PLL_BYPASS. 680pF is worth a shot.
