Ok, so I flashed my firmware (using Xtreme 1.2b)
So check this out. 99% of my backups work wonderfully. I burn using Verbatim DVD+R DL
Some of them....kind of wierd things. For example, in Nascar 08, one of the tracks when loading would result in a dirty disc error. Thought it was a bad burn, burned it again. Loaded the track, but then, later, it did the same thing, and to a few others. It only happened after a while of playing, and I usually fixed this by completly cutting off my Xbox 360, and cutting it back on.
Now, I just backuped a different game. (Marvel Ultimate Alliance). I played it online just for for like 3-4 hours. Even had a saved game. So I went back and loaded the save game and it worked fine. I turned off my Xbox, and rebooted. Now when I try and load it it gives me a Dirty Disc error.
What it the world. The disc works, I know it does, I played it. It's not dirty. The burn is most likely fine, just like my Nascar was.
What could be causing this? Does my laser need cleaning? Also note I suffer from the uh hard to eject sydrome. In other words, my Xbox is one of the very early model Premiuem systems and has the silver tray, and it's a known problem that sometimes the disc won't eject, and the simple fix is when you eject and it gets stuck is to press in on the trey and it pops out.
Any ideas guys?
